Situated in Cochin, this Temple is famous for its mystic and occult practices. The main deity of this Temple is Rajarajeshwari and she's considered to be extremely powerful. The Temple specializes in removing possessions/dark spells and other taboo such concepts.

We check in today, enjoy a nice welcome drink and get settled! We will have a quick meeting today and then do some local sight seeing.

Chennai - Arrival
Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and the biggest city in south India. This morning we will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then head to Kapaleeshwarar temple in Mylapore. Upon completion of this, we will use the rest of the day to do any immediate shopping in Chennai and pack for an early morning start tomorrow!

This morning we will check out and head to the airport to fly into Delhi! Check in and relax and then do some light sight seeing and shopping in the Capital of India!

Chennai - Delhi
Today we will do some local site seeing and possibly visit the Taj Mahal in Agra. This will be a 3 hour car ride, so get ready to absorb the North Indian culture on our way and back to Delhi. Upon returning, we will have some time for shopping and to pack for our journey the next day.

We leave early today to make our way to Haridwar. This 5 hour ride will be broken by a few stops along the way to explore North India. Once we get to Haridwar we will check in, relax and head out for some local sites!

Delhi - Haridwar
Today we will visit some famous temples in Haridwar, have a chance to dip in the ganges and spend some time shopping. Optional rituals will be arranged for those who want to experience it.

Today we will head to Rishikesh to explore some ashrams and famous Temples. Enjoy the pristine waters of Ganga and we will return after viewing the famous Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh.

We spend today again exploring very sacred sites in Rishikesh along with some very interesting site seeing. Shivanandas Ashram will also be a main stop today.

After breakfast and some last minute explorations, we will head to Dehradun Airport for our flight back to Chennai.

Rishikesh - Chennai
Today will be reserved as a rest, recharge and packing day for our next voyage through Kerala. Relax and unwind ahead of our exciting tour of 'Gods own country.'

This morning we fly out to Coimbatore. Upon arrival we check into our hotel and relax. Today we will explore Isha Yoga Center and some famous waterfalls in Coimbatore. Tonight we will check in, and relax!

Chennai - Coimbatore
This morning we leave at 6am and head to Guruvayur on a 3-hour drive. Upon arrival we will visit Sri GuruvayurAppan. We break for lunch in Guruvayur and drive 2.5 hours to Cochin. Upon arrival we check in and relax for the night. There will be an optional trip tonight to witness the Kuruthi puja that happens at 9pm (not everyone needs to attend this).

Guruvayur - Cochin
Today we head to see the Chottanikarra bhagavathi amman temple this morning. After darshan we head to see some of the historical and landmark sites in Cochin. We drive 1 hour to Alappuzha and spend the night there on a houseboat.

Cochin - Alappuzha
Today we have breakfast on the boat and then disembark. We explore some local destinations and then head to the famous city of Thiruvananthapuram (3 hour drive). Upon arrival we check in and relax for the night!.

Alappuzha - Thiruvananthapuram
This morning after breakfast we head to the famous Padmanabaswami Temple. Upon completion of a guided tour we head back to the hotel and have lunch. This afternoon we embark on a 3 hour drive to Kanya Kumari to make it for the famous sunset.

Thiruvananthapuram
Don't sleep in! We get to enjoy the famous sunrise that's renowned due to the sunrise occurring at the meeting of 2 oceans. After breakfast we head to the famous Kanya Kumari Amman Temple and Vivekananda's temple in the ocean. We head back and spend the night in Kanya Kumari to enjoy another sunset and a sunrise tomorrow!

After breakfast we head out to Thiruchendur on a 2 hour drive. After having darshan of Sri Murugan where his final battle with Soorapadma took place, we drove an additional 5 hours to Rameshwaram. Today we just check in and relax, it was a long drive!

Kanyakumar - Rameshwaram
Today we are headed to the famous Rameshwaram Temple early in the morning. Those who wish to bath in the famous wells that were created here will be given the opportunity to do so. Upon completion we head back to the hotel for lunch and then pack up and head out to Madurai. Check in and relax today!

Rameshwaram
Today we explore the capitol of the Sanga Tamizh Pallava Kings. We head to the famous Madhurai Meenakshi temple and have darshan and explore the large Temple and the magnificent architectural work of the Pallava dynasty. We head back for lunch, pack and fly back to Chennai tonight.

Today we pack up and fly to Chennai! We will use today to relax and recoup!

Today is your day as well! Go shopping, lounge, go to a movie! You decide. We will do a group trip tonight to Marina beach or Besant Nagar beach depending on the crowd.

Do I need to be religious to attend?
Definitely not! We will be covering a lot of Temples, but the tours will also be heavy on history, architecture and culturally immersive!
Is the water safe?
Bottled water is the only water anyone should be drinking on the trip. OneHome will ensure bottled water is made available throughout the day to ensure hydration is maintained.
Can we shop?
Of course! We will have allocated time throughout the trip for shopping. We will also have a few days at the beginning and the end of the trip designated just for this purpose.
Where will we stay?
OneHome will only be booking accommodations that meet 3-star standards or higher. In some rural towns, hotels will be 3 star hotels. Examples of which are: GRT Regency in Kanchipuram.
What if I get sick?
OneHome will have contacts with medical staff in every town we visit. Don’t worry, we will take care of you! If hospitalization is needed, we will be working with a few doctors to get you the best care needed.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, of course! This trip is for everyone. All children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Will COVID-19 protocols be followed?
Yes, we will be following all covid-19 protocols according to Tamil Nadu state guidelines and North America guidelines.
Can I wash my clothes?
OneHome will help coordinate a weekly washing drop off costing around 300 rupees for 4kg per person. If you need any immediate washes, everyone is allowed to utilize hotel wash services directly.
Do I get a room to myself?
If you want a single room, please reach out to us. The packages are for 2-3 person sharing basis.
