FAQs
We know traveling abroad could be scary, we assure you OneHome Global is committed to giving you a very safe, stress-free and enjoyable experience. To further assure you, please check out some FAQs below!
The first few sessions will be to get to know each other, spend some time together and chat! Its not always about getting something done. However, to help create some content, we will have some structured teaching options as well.
What would the sessions be like?
That's the cool part! We only get to meet them on the call :) But don't worry, if you are uncomfortable for any reason, someone from the OneHome team will be on and can jump right in to help steer the meeting.
Who are the people I'm going to talk with?
Although we usually expect something tangible in return, the goal of this program is to just spend time and value each other. It's a great chance to meet new people and help them learn something new. OneHome will be looking into opportunities to provide community service hours with school regions that accept it.
What do I get out of this?
Our aim is that the same homes we do our youth initiatives with would be the same homes we engage with for our pen pal program. Join us on a Youth Initiative trip and you will definitely get to meet your friends!
Will I ever get to meet these people?
